Even before the pandemic, people were feeling stressed and disconnected. A 2020 Cigna study found 61% are lonely. What can we do to support ourselves and one another in this intensely challenging time?

One answer: To use our emotional intelligence skills to increase compassion.

Join this interactive “EQ Café” to explore the idea of compassion, and to emotional intelligence together. EQ Cafés are insightful, engaging sessions for people curious about emotional intelligence to connect and learn together. Normally Cafeés are in-person, but at this time, many people around the world are in a challenging situation where they can’t meet together… so we’ve created this virtual-café to support people to keep connected and keep practicing our emotional intelligence.

In this Café we will discover:

  • What “compassion” means
  • Why we might want to actively work to practice compassion
  • How we can use emotional intelligence to engage more compassion

Who: Anyone interested in learning about and practicing emotional intelligence – the learnable, measurable, scientifically validated skillset we all need to thrive.
