While “being authentic” has tremendous value and benefits, it’s challenging (and perhaps becoming more challenging due to social and technological changes). Join in to explore:
- What does “authenticity” mean and why is it important?
- What gets in the way of authenticity, and how can we overcome those barriers?
- What are some risks of authenticity, and how can we mitigate those?
EQ Cafés are interactive, informal workshops created by Six Seconds, the global nonprofit supporting a more emotionally intelligent world. I’m a volunteer leader in the network, supporting people to practice emotional intelligence – and we’re especially focused on bringing these skills to future generations. The Cafés are open to anyone.
