Ubuntu, the African philosophy meaning, “I am who I am because of who we all are” teaches us that our humanity is tied to the humanity of others.1 This philosophy challenges the myth of being “self-made,” a perspective that often leads to isolation and a focus on individual achievement. Ubuntu invites us to reexamine the possibility that growth, healing, and purpose are rooted in relationships.
Spiritual Emotional Intelligence (SEQ) deepens this understanding by offering a framework to nurture connections with ourselves, others, and the larger world. Through SEQ, we can realign with Ubuntu’s call to honor our interdependence and lead lives grounded in connection, purpose, and collective well-being.
Please join us as we explore Ubuntu together in a 90-minute interactive workshop through the lens of Spiritual Emotional Intelligence!
